On Saturday my old monitor gave up the ghost. It had quickly forth a new device. So I thought, let's schau'n Amazon. Once I had decided, due to the positive reviews for the Acer S24HLCBID and had brought the order to the way it took only about 48 hours to the new device with me standing in front of the door.
So I unpacked and connected the monitor and nothing happens. Hmm, I thought, a startup message when the power goes on's device would be yes, at least have been nice, even if the computer does not send signals. A glance at the manual says there are 5 buttons on the unit. One of them is on for Use on and off charge. Unfortunately, the buttons on the monitor are not referred to, but, I thought, when I press all the on / off button will probably be there.
No sooner said than done, but nothing happens. No response from the device. After several plugs in and out and felt 25 times on all the buttons pressed, I thought to myself, the device must be broken. So Complaints sent to Amazon and packed everything back. When packing, I then noticed that there also should be about 6 cm long transparent strip there in addition to the 5 buttons, which were described in the instructions, which probably should dastellen the on / off light. By chance, I expressed when packing on this bar and lo and behold, she was moved.
Long story short, I had the on / off switch is detected, the unfortunately was mentioned in the manual with no word. After I had the 2nd time unpacked and connected everything I could finally enjoy my new monitor. Again, only briefly. The device is well worth the money. A beautifully clear and bright image. Also, the exterior appearance of the monitor is very positive. As far as a good buy.
If the matter had not been with the totally inadequate instructions, the monitor would get full marks for me. Very annoying anyway.
Which brings us back at Amazon. Once I realized that must not be exchanged for the part I called there immediately. There were are my complaint passed about 2 hours. There one was already Blazed me to pack a spare monitor. Class. Fortunately, the mission could be stopped.
