Be aware That Apple is using icts OS updates and the dreaded "may not be compatible" messages to icts own strength, overpriced cables, through Their customers' throats. I Had ordered this cable as an extra to sit next to my PC to transfer occasionally pdfs to my iPad (for Goodreader) using the USB Goodreader utility (bypassing, God-forbid, Apples iTunes Bulkware). This cable is cheap and works MOST of the time but not always. Manufacturer-constructed compatibility issues Such As thesis are an excellent argument for Deciding to jailbreak your device- there are user-friendly tools out there for doing this.
