With a lamp the supply line to the light unit powered ceiling lamp was moved sloppy directly via several LEDs. But could be remedied with caution. Quality brass colored, irregularly matt brushed surface of the lamp rack for the price acceptable. But this is also significantly high. Both the uplight and the reading lamp produce a sufficiently bright, not too white and satisfying dimmable light. Halogen lamps emit a color in much warmer and better dimmable through to candle pattern reaching light. While giving the uplight of halogen lamps often disturbing humming noises in the LED lights such noises are not heard. A real design deficiency is the fact that the LED light units are not interchangeable in this light as comparable products. Go broken, you can dispose of the entire lamp. Thus then the savings in power consumption runs total in its opposite. So you have to rely on the manufacturer's shelf life promise, and it is all the more incomprehensible that in this lamp no warranty is offered, so one has to rely on warranty claims against the seller. This Risk is necessary to know and consider when buying this LED lights. It are still too uplight proven halogen technology and also with energy-saving lamps.
