Since I was satisfied so far with the AEG (me has always tasted the result, at least for the home and could also be seen visually reasonably ... what this very simple machine As) I first sought for a successor ... and dived suddenly somewhere in between the ROMMELSBACHER.
Actually, I wanted the one hand not to spend too much money, on the other hand I also somewhere "improve".
The next usual suspects were already due to their price of the option (Gaggia Classic Coffee as much geprießenes minimum from 260, -EUR was still above the acceptable level of mine) and so I made myself knowledgeable about me unknown.
Pump and the pressure (ULKA, 19bar), performance (nearly 1300W) Tank size (twice my old), and ultimately the price and ease of use made the decision to purchase then quickly tires.
Delivered she was then very fast ... thanks Amazon!
Unwrapped she was ready to go fix ... only the initial plastic chemical smell was pretty fierce, but I known in advance.
But after about four to five tank runs with clear water it was already almost gone ... mittlererweile completely gone!
The supplied water filter I do not use, since I use quite low calcium mineral water (already in the AEG ... the coffee tastes better).
From the other treatment I was not disappointed for the price, everything is in place precisely and without burrs. The water tank can be pushed well, the filter holder is comfortable to hold and can prove useful, as the drip tray.
The supplied Crema sieves produce for now a good result, can be used for cleaning but not completely dismantled and are for each Espressofan anyway have the question.
Granted, the thus prepared coffee looks appealing and tastes.
Nevertheless, I have a decent screen immediately concerned (of the Saeco Aroma, Elektra Micro Casa should fit well, additional costs 15, -EUR + shipping ... only the clamping spring in the filter holder, I had to adjust a little) and lo and behold, the result needs to not really to hide in compliance with freeness of beans and Tamperdruck before much more expensive machines !!
Water temperature and pressure at the filter holder agree with my Rommelsbacher!
Speaking of temperature ... heated the machine thanks to the Thermoblock technology also quite fast (also a selection criterion, because I still do not more than 4 in front of breakfast service: 15h want to get up, only because of my coffee).
She also keeps the heat even quite long, even though the machine switches off the heater after ten minutes.
The cup shelf on the other hand can not really use it for heating.
For this reason alone not because the machine during reference but vibrates quite strong and therefore still standing on her clattering cups wander on the shelf.
With me is for this reason a wipe on top of the cups and stay where they are ... they are always properly preheated with hot water.
The vibrations can unfortunately also be filled cups under the filter holder a little hike ... for me not really bad, for so many but certainly disturbing.
Frothing milk works well as far as I can tell. Am not the expert, because I have tested it only for experimental purposes (drinking my coffee than just selbigen..schwarz). In any case, the steam itself is relatively dry and the foam is quite long and also holds the sprinkled sugar for a good while.
All in all I am very happy with the machine.
The company Rommelsbacher is now a big hit, showing that well-functioning Espresso (filter holder) machines do not have to be expensive.
Will it last as long as its predecessor remains to be seen. I'm quite confident.
Due to the review I've long considered whether five or four stars because of the but small complaints (Chemoplast smell at the beginning and wandering cups), but then decided to go full number because it gives off a great figure for my needs ... especially for the price ,
Strong buy recommendation !!

Short feedback after almost half a year now but intensive use:
... I am still convinced of the machine!
It works flawlessly and are very good espresso (I prefer dark, classic Italian roasts).
With the above minor weaknesses you can live.
Also positive is the supply of spare parts should make ... I just talked to the company Rommelsbacher and asked me only out of interest for the availability of water tank, filter holder and Brühgruppendichtung.
All this can be obtained directly from them (tank at 11, -EUR, Espresso Machines at 16, -EUR ... pretty fair, I think) and the seal can even swap.
