The "3 little touches":
1) I get the Scaner only when I disconnect the connection between my PC and the Scaner, ie cable pull, otherwise it scans. (On / Off button and scan job button is the same.)
2) When I was preset so that he separates areas of the image. That is, when you scan eg two cards they have two image files with one card. A great feature that would not appear she had not robbed me of the nerve. XD Because I wanted some pictures now time together in an image file without having herumzukopieren and insert long. The switch has ever lasted despite fairly obvious function and robbed me of the nerve. (Do not ask how I issued this, I have now forgotten.)
3) I had some time to Auto Scan mode (or whatever it's called also) as sets of Scaner settings automatically (brightness, contrast ....). But that does not always go so well and here I have not just me excelled when it came to the mode off again because of Scaner almost gets going immediately after scan command.
You see, actually 2 and 3 are actually quite useful things and 1 is not so stupid from a technical perspective. ;)
You can adjust a lot, especially when you are in Expert Mode. :)
A very important feature of the software is the preview scan. In auto mode it scans quickly for the first time over it to set the properties. Something that could be annoying for the one or the other is that it does not go without a preview, but wants to certain properties to keep (such as what type of image [photo, document, user identified], brightness, contrast, Staubentfehrnung, color restoration .. .), then you should just not close the preview box - then he remembers that and it goes on with the next time and you can instantly rid Scanning. There are not many things you sets before the preview, there are a few more that you can determine for the professional mode (dpi etc.).
The colors are given very nice again and color restoration is not always a good choice.
Once you get used to it and found his typical settings or if you use the automatic mode, the scan is quick, easy and relatively quiet (there are a little higher notes) - of course, it goes faster with 600dpi than with 4800dpi. ;)
The Scaner's easy and only 5cm high, I think there are flatter, but I find the height Ideally, it can be gripped very well.
