For my (young) children, I have ordered a trial basis two flashlights me hitherto unknown brand "SecurityIng" and am very pleasantly surprised! Almost 17 euros is very little money for a torch made of aircraft aluminum with Cree XM-L LED with 600 lumens.
Now it is an unfortunate habit of diverse NoName provider of flashlights, these to compete with vastly inflated lumen specifications (China lumens instead ANSI lumens). In the case of SecurityIng however, seems to make more realistic information. I compare the here-reviewed lamp with my EagleTac T20C2 Mark II, which offers a real brightness of 680 ANSI lumens, I can not tell much difference. In addition, the light color is quite pleasant, I would describe it as pure white (neither blue- green or yellowish). Only the edge area has a minimal pink hem, but this phenomenon occurs in some cases even with much more expensive lamps. About a true "low", the lamp has not unfortunately. I would appreciate the lowest light level at about 150 lumens.
It is operated via a single button on the lamp end and is self-explanatory. Each time you press the function changes as follows: Turbo - High - Low - Strobe - SOS. The lamp always starts in stage turbo, a memory function, there is not unfortunately.
Design and processing are astonishingly high. The anodization is error free, the threads are clean cut and greased. Unfortunately tarnishes a not quite clean reflector somewhat the otherwise amazingly flawless overall appearance. However, I have a 400 euro expensive lamp, which also has inclusions in the reflector. The functionality does this definitely no demolition. The lanyard is rather modest quality, but I forgive in such a favorable light.
Like many other lamps of this size has also this does not have Chock. Even candle stand is only possible because the rubber of Endkappenschalters protrudes slightly over the lamp end.
To avoid disappointment, should any prospective customers know that this lamp is powered by a special Li-Ion battery of 18650 size. I strongly recommend a protected specimen (PCB) to use. In this respect, the lamp is only of interest to people who already have the appropriate battery and charging technology (such as smoking e-cigarettes).
Conclusion: I am in this case SecurtyIng flashlight very pleasantly surprised and would never want this lump with several other China-lamps dubious quality and performance. I see more of a real cost-effective alternative, especially if you need a reasonable use lamp eg for walking of dogs. Comparable lamps of the brand manufacturers cost at least 3-4 times. In this respect, I forgive well deserved 5 stars!
