Am fully satisfied with the part that works right away with me under Win 8.1, Raspberry Pi and on Windows XP.
(Ie thus covers a good range from functional) possibly you have even a driver (with Windows XP)
install from the CD supplied, then the whole thing is nothing in the way.

However, as far is the reach or ultimately but the maximum data throughput, I can not say,
since I use the part only for the surrounding area, a long reach and a 300Mbps transfer rate
(Which in WLAN anyway never been true and is more theoretical) is not a priority for me.

In any case, the part is pretty small and I did it even in a passive USB Hub 2.0 as well as
actively brought 3.0 USB hub up and running.
