What I like?
1) M-discs should be supported, according to my research, that you can take the unit also make permanent backups (25 GB per disc). Why is no mention here I do not understand. For that alone would have been worth it for me to the acquisition. (But I had to test it no chance.)
2) With the included CyberLink Media Suite (for PC only) you can already do a lot even if Power DVD Ultra 10 is out of date, it is still it is better than nothing. (The price of Power DVD Ultra 14 is about 70 EUR!) At least at the time (December, 2014), you can upgrade for less than 40 EUR on the 14er version.
3) The drive is usually fairly quiet, that it falls during BD View not adversely affect.
4) Samsung (as opposed to Panasonic) Firmware upgrades available (if there times where stuck there is a chance to improve).
5) The device is small and light and therefore easy to transport and to know it looks quite "chic" from.
In regard to CyberLink Media Suite:
If you want to install Power DVD 10 can not do this unfortunately. However, one can on the Deinstallationsprog. all other components of the SW package -nachträglich- uninstall.
PS One star deduction because the LW-speed läst not set via external software (except for CD playback). This leads then from time to time but before that you can hear the LW.
Addendum 2015-03-23:
After only 4 months of operation, ie with me playing about 20 BDs and never used to burn the LW is no longer able to read BDs: 1 star deduction. Amazon was kind enough to send me immediately a new LW; hopefully keeps the longer ...
