Facts:
1. Size: The C1765nfw is compact, almost cubical (B41xT38xH35). But you have to remember that when the loaded paper (which I suppose is the normal case), the depth is not 38, but 45 is. The paper tray bottom is relatively open (which was already repeatedly complained here) and can get dusty. The pull-out (and necessary) paper support for printing above is a flimsiges part that probably sometime breaks.
2. Installation: There are, as usual, a Quick Start Guide and a User's Manual in PDF format (download). With the Quick Start Guide and the installation CD we produced the first term within 15 minutes in the WLAN. As a router, we have a Fritz! Box 7490. We have not chosen the WPS option, but leave the printer itself looking for the WLAN - was easy. After we installed the printer on the first PC, we have on the other PCs simply again inserted the CD and logged in the printer just by clicking.
3. Functions: We have so far only printed and copied. Automatic duplex printing can not, unfortunately, is not claiming (stands at Idealo that he "duplex printing manually" can). The fax function, we will probably not be used because the already makes one of the printers on the network. The C1765nfw can unfortunately definitely not AirPrint, even if that is claimed in Printer Info Dotcom. But as a replacement can be sent to the printer with the free app "Dell Document Hub" documents that are stored on the mobile device and in a cloud connected, via Wi-Fi. We have tried with Dropbox from iPhones, works.
4. Quality: The printouts are exactly sharp, rich colors and smudge-proof. Absolutely super.
5. Environment: Our printer smells not in standby, in operation hardly. We hear in standby no RF pipes (which was somewhere complains times). The printing noise itself is much quieter than the 3110cn. The power consumption in standby pressure is according to the specifications 40 W, 10 W in sleep mode, the Network Standby (automatically after 20 minutes break) 2.4 W. With power switch OFF 0 W
6. User Interface: We have chosen the English interface, since we noticed nothing unpleasant.
7. Dell website: Product registration via the link provided at first showed an irritating error message (Service Key invalid) after we had but then logged us on our Dell account under "Germany", we were able to the printer probnlemlos in our list of Dell Add products.
8. Appearance: Somewhere it was said that he was "ugly" is - we find the black dice nice (our other IT equipment are also black).
Conclusion: So far everything ok. If there is noteworthy news / experiences, we bear the after here.
