LeToya Luckett, born on March 11 in Houston, former member of R & B group Destiny's Child and the less successful group Anjel, published with 'LeToya' her first solo work. LeToya from 1993 to 1999 member of Destiny's Child, but because of disagreements with the manager Matthew Knowles, she got out. Then apply it founded with 2 other members of the girl group Anjel, but only two years held since conflicts with the record company emerged. In early 2005 the two published LeToya Singles 'U Got What I Need' and 'All Eyez On Me' with Paul Wall, the tracks were however available only on plates. Now their debut album is in my home. The album has a perfect mix of great ballads ('Torn' ...) and wonderful R'n'B-smashers ('So Special' ...). I love it when it creates an artist something zuverbinden together! The chorus of the single 'U Got What I Need' works very well and left, by the way produced by Just Blaze. The single 'Torn' is great with a long great final. The second released single 'She Do not' convinced me a lot with the text, I can somehow understand the feelings. Also 'What Love Can Do' is very good pass from lyrical ago. My absolute favorite ballad but: Obvious. Just how I like it, great beat and soulful. The song 'I'm good' and 'This Song' could not convince me, because, for example 'I'm good' is very fast monotonous. Now we come to the danceable songs: 'So Special' with great somehow tinged chorus or 'All eyes in me' with really sinister beat. Which reminds me of this track is almost too dark already, so I do not like so much the song 'Gangsta Grillz' with Mike Jones and Killa Kyleon, because the track is just too "hard" for LeToya and for her voice. 'Tear da club up' is another highlight, is actually the best song with Bun B and Jazze Pha, convinced me already after half a minute. Krachiger R'n'B with great verses of LeToya and Bun B. Also 'Hey fella' with Slim Thug has succeeded. In the large and whole a wonderful R'n'B album with great guest stars who have icheigentlich not expected. Way to go, LeToya!
