Can work well in the right environment

Devolo has two handy and visually appealing devices fabricated in which even a passage outlet is fitted with power filter that does not create competition. The latest 1200 powerline generation is so far available only from Devolo and AVM, AVM achieved in tests with minimal higher speeds.
It is good that a phase separation for the current generation probably is not a problem because the signals between parallel cables skip and thus no phase coupler has to be installed.

In my case, Powerline, however, was a complete disappointment. Instead of the promised 1200 megabit / s came out just 75-100. Even in the same room on the same circuit, the devices have synchronized with only 400-500. It was particularly bad that vond en displayed 75 megabits / s was not much more than the Häflte via TCP / IP available. The deterioration of gross to net data rate thus appears to be more pronounced than in WLAN.
Especially in the morning and in the evenings, the data rate was so low that a reasonable video streaming and undisturbed Entertainempfang were no longer possible. Perhaps it is because the fuse box of the house is located in the basement and not how often encountered in rent on the same floor?
The hotline from devolo was indeed polite and talkative, but could not help make sense to me. Also make "testing" all socket combinations has shown that with me just a short distance on the same circuit can be very very überbückt sense.
Now instead Powerline I use WLAN what works satisfy with the AC standard, pure 802.11n brings with thick walls, especially in crowded 2GHz band no longer much.
