So that's it, the new Oasis album, somehow it has two weeks before publication before everyone belongs and Lyla knows by now really everyone anyway.
And it is - as announced by Noel - the best album since the debut?
No, of course it is no better than (What's The Story) Morning Glory, it is perhaps not even better than Be Here Now ... But we put the past to rest briefly times and give the album as an album that appears in two weeks time a chance.
The album is good and that is really good, there is no real filler on the album and I would even say that they are not completely stagnant.
"Turn up the Sun", for example, comes with a Travis-like intro before it starts to pound and you even notes that are Oasis to work, a song in this mood have Oasis not yet been made, never! And the even written by Gem Arch.
"Mucky Fingers" steals quite formidable by Velvet Underground, but if that is an obstacle to hear Oasis, who has done something wrong in the past decade, the song is really good, although Noel sings, great melody and something of In the!
"Lyla" stealing of Street Fighting Man, is a nice song to sing along, but probably the weakest song on the disk, although it is still good! A little too long, however, also!

"The Importance of Being Idle" Noel sings falsetto, sounds like Coldplay and so incredibly not Oasis and eventually managed a real About Raus Chung moment on the album!
"The Meaning of Soul" 104 seconds, swiped at Jumping Jack Flash, but a great song, nasty, dirty, a bit like one of Liam's songs actually imagines and not a second too long!
"Guess God Thinks I'm Abel" my favorite song at the moment, again one of Liam, but what one starts dreaming, will eventually incredibly exciting with the background choir "No one can take us, no one can break us!" and ends brachial ... really great !!!
"Part of the queue" steals in Golden Brown, but is really the rhythm forth something else, clock ... Oasis ... ??? still works, even if Noel's singing disturbs a bit here.
"Keep the dream alive!" Stop Crying Your Heart Out, a bit rockier, with Beatle harmonies, but unfortunately a little too long. The rest of the album is kept pleasantly short because coming six minutes but very ... tough.
"A bell will ring" From Andy Bell .. sounds like Beatles Revolver to time, great song, really great!
"Let There Be Love" A hymn to the conclusion, one must have heard Liam and Noel singing together is a true culmination of a good album.
There is no second WTSMG, but it is an album in which you can hear that they took the time to work out a good sound, which is homogeneous, that you also may hear in 2 years, even without thinking about what I have because at that time consumed for weird stuff?

I would give this album 5 stars because it's a good album, and must leave it to compete here with such strange things that have nothing to do for 5 cents with Oasis that it has earned the 5 points! Keep the dream alive.
