I have bought myself the device to scan (currently under Snow Leopard) documents on MAC PC. As an advantage, I considered that the scanner is easy to connect (USB - no separate power supply) is good (saving space) to accommodate on the desk. The included software (but not for longer) adequate for the specified purpose. The only trick with the USB connection (incl. Power supply) seems to be that one an available connection point is not to share with other devices (USB hub, for example), because then the scanner does not get enough power and does not work.
