Very good novel, reads with pleasure. The novelist describes very well the English countryside and it's very nice. The story is compelling between two periods: 1911 and 2011. The clear distinction of people, places, do not confuse our minds, as is often the case between two eras. The female characters are very endearing, unlike the Reverend and theosophist happens in the rectory. The sought glory and yet utopian one, and the madness that grips the other, the lead too far in their actions. We really look forward to completing this book, and find out what really happened in this summer of 1911. I can only recommend it highly.
