Frankly when we start this kind of book it is expected a drama at the end or when a party with prostitutes that would get us out of the cave of Plato. I enjoyed the challenge of the blow because the author handles the pen like a tightrope walker wields his stick: one is a little balancing whether Michel Houellebecq is sincere. So it is difficult to identify the character happens and I think that's why we can find impersonal. Indeed the style may seem rather banal but the deadpan seems to watch in every letter of eye (including E, R, a, A, O, O, p, P, d, D, q, Q, b, B g that have it, especially in e is the most petty letter I think). In the end I recognized myself slightly in the final, but I think it's a business strategy of the author.
This book is an ideal gift for people who love the subject.
