All reviewers who have previously praised the support of the Apt-X codec for this device are incorrect. There is the same manufacturer a confusingly similar looking device called "Avantree Saturn" - only the other supports the Apt-X / aptX codec.

From today's email Avantree-support: "ASIN B0085HOM4K supports apt-X ASIN B0053R6ESC does not support apt-X The difference between them is apt-X codec..."

The Bluetooth device of Avantree with the article. B0053R6ESC is this here, the "Avantree TC200". The other Bluetooth device by Avantree, the "Avantree Saturn" is also available from Amazon and currently costs around 10 EUR more. The "Avantree Saturn" contributes to the Amazon product images on the apt-X logo on the case.

By the way, until the beginning of 09/2014 the product outcry Bung "Avantree TC200" was wrong and misleading - it was information about "Avantree Saturn" (now corrected).
