Caution. High potential search!

The software runs on my borderline to be named Calculator (2x3GHz, NVidia 450, Win7 Pro) liquid with a few jerks, but do not bother me further.

I play with a regular controller (2xJoystick, panorama keyset, 12 additional keys) and it takes quite a while until one has the sense established. All keys are freely assignable (blinkers, wipers, horn, high beam, etc.) and I am now quite well understood. The decor is carried out once and is when the game starts then immediately there - a Mitrezensent had indeed said he would adjust the settings every time again, this is not like that.

But here's already the first serious criticism: The keys for the all-round view (left, right, up, down) are not, as stated, centered, but the views sticks where you look just so must be manually put back ( centered) are. That's just very annoying when turning at blind intersections.

On the other hand, one can couple the viewing direction to the steering, which is a very beautiful thing, but the error does not compensate. In general, the simulation of the cockpit is top notch. Everything moves, everything is reproduced faithfully.

However, the main thing for me is driving, being on the road. The programmers have here given a lot of effort with the design of landscapes, the road layout, traffic simulation, the lighting conditions. In particular, we see a lot of attention to detail. Certainly: Sometimes you have deja vus and says a thing or two details have already seen elsewhere, but on the whole, the scenery is very abwechsungsreich.

Driving on motorways is sometimes very tricky as ever unexpectedly disappearing tracks and then you often can continue only on the far left lane, not as one would expect of German motorways. But you get used quickly to this oddity.

We now come to the second point of criticism: The Navi really is not very helpful in some situations, especially when you have to depart from highways, usually decide at the last moment, if you have right out, or do you go straight and then first right. Here a bit more detail would be very useful. Also, I sometimes have a feeling I'll useless sent "over land" if it would go a lot faster on the highway. Navi usual settings such as the prefer highways, the shortest / fastest route, there is unfortunately not.

We come to me rather uninteresting part: The economic simulation: to make money, to buy a truck, drives aiuf own account, is expanding its business further, buying more cars, provides a people. Those looking herein the focus of the game, which will surely be disappointed. The whole operation is very intuitive, there is no help and also on the net are nowhere.

Eg if you have bought a truck and hired a driver how to get to get to work? No idea, no clue all menus by dug - nothing. We finally found out that the boys work themselves looking ... nice to know. In general, it is in the various menus so many adjustable parameters that are declared but at no point that one longs ever after a reasonable and extensive instructions.

So I focus mainly on the essentials for me: Somewhere hire and drive freight from A to B. Because you will never be disappointed and everything is clearly defined. Deliver the goods from possible undamaged and you get a chunk of money and possibly even experience points with which you can easily qualify for higher quality goods, and thus deserve more coal. Everything else is decoration.

Conclusion: For 20 to 30 euros more I would certainly buy this game (if I had known it), because it attracts a lot of (unfortunately far too many) hours at the screen. Truck simulation with search potential. Buy recommendation!

EDIT: Free download and install update. Some improvements, but not. Regarding my criticisms The game is now crashed me twice inexplicable. But is not really a problem: In the background is often stored and you drive almost exactly up where they were before the crash. I hope this does not come too often in front of ...
EDIT2: I now Going East with it ... still a great game. Especially because I bought a decent steering wheel to (Logitech Driving Force GT). This improves the simulation again many times. Crashes can still find every 4-5 hrs. Instead. Have resigned myself to. The bucking is always concerned with saving in the background. Even so I'm clear. Waiting now to Scandinavia.
