Unlike cheap printers Oki may considerably more than what you need for a small home office. User Management, Secure Print, Job Management, SD memory card for all templates which makes sense for a workgroup printer is available.
I am impressed by the ability of paper up to 250g / m² to process. For Office documents, it seems to me not so color fidelity on I put more emphasis on printed images. On high quality photo paper from HP Oki prints in stunning quality.
The print speed is not only on the data sheet with 34 pages in color pleasantly fast also the subjective impression conveyed high speed. Although I have not stopped times, but all the functions that includes waking from a deep sleep, are subjective pleasantly fast.
The setting also went very quickly, just that you can change to another menu language only via voice file upload I found inappropriate for the price range of this printer.
As I put more value on the expression of pictures, I have to try some chose to install the PostScript driver. Gradients and color fidelity are much better than in the PCL driver. About my NAS server can also print via AirPrint wonderful. Was not a requirement when choosing a printer but a pleasant one.
The printer makes around a quality impression.
Whether the impression will also allow a conclusion about the longevity only to show in the future.
But if I can recommend the Oki 610 every hesitation.
