I have chosen deliberately for the 1.5 liter variant, as we are a 5 person household, and 1-liter containers are too small to fill each table on the glass. The carafe is large enough in terms of volume. However, it is so big and heavy, and unfavorable balance that it is only good to use by an adult. For the children I am always afraid that they on the glass, which they fill just hit the carafe edge. As I know from other reviews, how sensitive is the carafe, which would certainly lead to breakage of the carafe. So far, however, everything went well, and we take pleasure in the stylish commodity.
