The system is THX certified. And rightly so!
But you have to look closely, which certificate the Z received in 2300, because there are more and Logitech is here a little vague. "THX certified" just is not "all that great, good as it gets", but states that the Speaker meet certain technical specifications that enable optimal playback. But optimally is also dependent on audio material, room size and what you will actually listen and learn, etc. Here at last set the audio fetishists at (which I count myself) and go into such detail that no one figured more.
I want it summarized as follows:
For home theater area better than me: the Bass also highlights out of the chair when what explodes. The clear heights allow a good right-left pinpointing (that you sit up. 2m away from the speakers). Voices are okay and understandable.
For games the same is true: Bumms and locatability fine, who cares the sound quality of voice and background music in computer games ...?
For music:
Here's is tricky. The upper bass and midrange areas are too little (where they should come from?) And at high volume the sound is already "screaming" that you just have to say. So if you "... ... Untz untz ... untz" is set to techno, it will also fit well. In rock music to me, however, the pressure is missing. Pop? Can fit. Classical? Rather not. Piano? Nee.
Who wants to have it all together as a thrilling audio experience, much needs to dig deeper into their pockets.
My Conclusion:
Allrounder class speakers: NEN movie watching, playing computer or run music while relaxing evening with pals? Buy!
Music lovers and Klangfetischist?
Definitely not. Dear save even a bissel and dig deep into your pocket.
I hope this helps in the purchase decision ...
