Since childhood, he accompanied me. The many films, from "Charley's Aunt", "The White Horse Inn" to the "Count Bobby" films that have always embellished me in my childhood the Saturday afternoon, the Peter Alexander shows that were the annual hightlight the TV to towards its many songs that probably every one of us knows.
Peter Alexander was not only the perfect comedian, actor, show host and singer. No, he was the perfect man. No womanizing, no scandals, no drugs or alcohol excesses. His goal has always been to entertain people, to make people more beautiful everyday life and to put a smile on people's face.
Peter Alexander was always the little rascal from Vienna with "böhmichen" roots, where it always managed his positive attitude towards life and to transfer them to others and thus a small piece made happier despite his success.
To quotas he has never paid any attention. He wanted only offer its audience the best entertainment and yet he had quotas, of which not even he who can dream of today.
His list of awards is long enough that you could probably even make a book out of it. His recorded singles and records (and later CDs) were so numerous that one wonders, how could one man produce so much?
His tours were always sold out. Numbers (450,000 viewers in the tour of Austria-Germany-Switzerland 1975), which includes the Rolling Stones and now Lady Gaga would sit in amazement, were with the normal.
Honesty, earthiness, perfectionism (in the form of "I want my audience all the best offer"), naturalness, Skandaloigkeit are just some features of Peter Alexander, who made him the best entertainer, singer and actor in Germany.
Never again will a give as him. That makes me sad, though his songs, his films and all the other memories of him, in the drives, CDs, DVDs and VHS will live on forever.
Leave idle a review on this disk (rather CD). Anyway the songs everyone knows.
Buy and at home so that life (and if it's just for a short time) can beautify and pick up a piece of the biggest Künsters that has ever existed in the German-speaking region, home.
