My old Zenker springform pan with glass floor broke down a few weeks ago: the riveting of the closure was durchgerottet simply. So replacement was needed, because I liked and relatively often jaw (1x a week). My search for a new springform pan with glass bottom and overflow protection was not as successful as I had hoped. But Amazon has indeed plenty of choice and after some searching I found the Emperor. Actually, I did not want to spend so much money on a baking pan, but since both the overwhelming number of positive reviews from buyers and the product description pledged me I have "indulged" my Emperor. Now, after cake Nr. 4, here are my first assessment (of course subjective, like all expressions here).
So far I have only positive things to report. The cake sticking barely on the edge of (a complete Nichtankleben of Teigrestchen will never give it m E. -. Finally, no manufacturer promises that cleaning is not needed). The cleaning of the baking pan is no problem - but I am one of those people who still do the dishes by hand. The theme dishwasher is therefore for me irrelevant, but possibly for other negative point. The dish brush allows the cleaning done quickly. Good thing is that you can open the ring of the baking pan completely and therefore a simple and comprehensive cleaning is fast.
Practically, of course, the cut-resistant floor. I was skeptical at first, but so far there is no reason for complaint. The argument put forward here, among other things, the form edge is not cut-proof, I can not quite understand. Even if a cake sticks to the edge, you still will not cut into the shape of the edge, but causes the knife edge past the plan.
Essential was the leak-proof bottom for me - something that my old baking pan had not and me has become a hater oven cleaner can be. :-) Also in this field the Emperor shape my expectations so far completely fulfilled - my oven will certainly not miss the scratching about in him.
Surely the price of the springform pan is not just low, but as I look at baking as a hobby, I regret buying these expensive compared to cheap forms not form. For buyers who bake rarely, the price could act as a deterrent, but maybe the shape anyway for them not totally uninteresting: by their practical advantages it facilitates a work.
Since I do not yet have the form of long, I can not say anything about the durability of the coating. Should there arise negative facts, I will update this text.
