Major weakness is the charging of the battery, which does not keep long.
A replacement battery would lt. Information from Mannesmann costs around 30.00 EUR ...
Highly fault:
- No charge level indicator of the battery, not the screwdriver, even in the charging cradle.
- No protection of the battery against overload, because automatic shutdown missing.
(According to instruction 3 - 5 hours charging time - so a game of chance)
Thus, it is only a matter of time that the battery gives up the ghost, as with my device.
This screwdriver I can not recommend to buy the best of intentions!
For 41.99 EUR I've bought a 2-speed cordless drill Parkside from LIDL. This is superior to Mannesmann in every way and even has 3 years warranty.
