Cheap, good hood with tuning potential

I bought about 3 months before me this hood. Amazon was again faster with delivery as announced. OK then.
The hood had to get, in fact, despite the somewhat meager instructions quickly and well to the wall. Better plugs for wall mounting are but in any case no error.
Suction impeccable. For me, there is so far to complain also no loss of key illumination.
The issue raised in some reviews problem of high volume, I have also been with a friend who has the same cap, noticed. Upon closer inspection the hood delivered me was soon clear there is a resonance problem due to the built-in thin sheets and the non-decoupled engine. So the engine vibration is transmitted unfiltered to the wall and the sheet metal fireplace and amplified there. Result: noise.
The transmission of vibrations to the wall I could with, mitigate the rear of the hood, glued rubber feet. The vibrations of the extendable metal chimney I have effectively mitigated with slabs from the hardware store, as I have this glued inside the chimney. As any other vibration dampening material goes. Since the hood is much quieter. The boiling water on the stove is now much louder than the hood.
All in all I can this hood, recommend especially at this price.
