If used properly, you can also bring light to inaccessible places. I use the bar at the park behind our basement stairs light to where we used to need a flashlight.

With 11.99 the price is fair, even without batteries. Of course you can not this noble designer quality and eg expected an aluminum housing. However, the nylon is serving, is robust and properly installed it really helps. The lack of switches and the fact that you can not use any batteries, the overall picture murky little.
