This assembly line has the same effect, and I can cut my 5m in length and over again matching sections. As these small cameras are not difficult, they can thus quasi hinkleben everywhere - even under the blanket on woodchip wallpaper I have been glued. Once pressed vigorously - lasts for hours! With a little more careful when removing twists, the whole thing goes back a trace of the wallpaper, and the camera back anyway.
The only thing that is not so convenient, is the protective film, because that is also clear - so "invisible" and can only be solved very difficult. which is unfortunately a bit fiddly.
But otherwise great idea. Keeps bombproof, as long as the ground / is dry and dust of grease.
But beware, I can imagine that on sensitive surfaces, peeling may sometimes could leave a damage (eg lacquered furniture, ...)
