I wanted the access system like used for an exterior door. The description is now available but unfortunately, that the fingerprint scanner to direct sunlight or may be exposed to rain water. The next problem is now, however, that the func range is only ~ 1 m to lock. So not even possible. I shall still an ugly additional weather protection ... no matter which technique I like. Next problem: The outer knob is out about 5 cm. For inward opening doors, in which the distance to lock frame is not infinite, collide when opening inevitably fingers to the frame or be clamped there. This is Children in the home a "no-go"! Appropos Children: The scanner can only detect "school children fingers". In kindergarten children an error message comes "too small ...". The keypad is to function as a smartphone display (to instructions), so it reaches a light touch. In reality this works very unreliable, at least for my model. Oh and last but not least: The supposedly matching software for TSE5500 can not manage fingerprint profiles. Thus, a time-dependent programming in the Access type "finger scan" not at all possible.
The design is great, the function on the lock cylinder superlatively well and safely, but unfortunately the implementation flawed. Very unfortunate.
Pro: + Stylish design + Lock cylinder relatively simple to install + Safer than other systems such as KeyMatic because the door in case of accidental activation (eg by children) is not simply jumps + Versatile access (pin, finger, remote control (not time contained))
Cons: - Software practically not brauchtbar (not included) - Risk of entrapment with low Castle Door frame distance - Not weatherproof - Wireless range of flexible (weatherproof) installation too low - Heavily used to keypad and menu navigation - to study without guidance goes nothing
