I chose this fan for my core i5 3570 to replace the original fan, I did not even try because it is so ridiculously small. With the cooler no problem my master processor is fully maintained at reasonable temperature (After 2 of 3 games like far cry I never exceeded 47 °). Given the very tight price throw at you. Small problem as well: the manual is not very clear and there a large size remember to check that it fits in your case.
