First of all I was very shocked when I unpacked the whole. The battery packs are huge. Clear, four AA batteries to get in there, I would be able to estimate, but I was a little surprised. I also have taken a while to get the parts so attached to my winter boots that strong brackets do not press me on any bone at the base.
The power lines are quite long and must somehow be hidden in the leg. Strangely, they did not interfere.
The sole was quite fix cut and fits nicely in my shoes, my feet still fits well inside.
Then practice test at 0 degrees. By 14 clock we went, had operated the soles with stage 2 and it was warm. Thought so after an hour Level 1 would be enough and so it was. Bin then trudged around all the time so, even when standing, my feet were not cold. In between, I have times shifted up to Level 3. Amazingly fast the higher level is the effect of, the soles are almost instantly warmer. Level 3 was too much, it was too warm.
18 clock we were back home, four hours were the soles in operation consumption: 680 mAh. In my 2.000er batteries still a lot more would have been possible.
One notices the hotplate front just a little, just a little bit harder, but does not interfere further.
The batteries are firmly seated in the holder, can be through openings from the outside, this press out well with your finger. The many complaints I can not understand.
One point deduction only because of the really bulky battery packs.
