No question provides the doyen again a milestone in live albums. And I can only agree with all the cheering. This album is for both beginners all Clapton (there are still ??) as well as for all Claptonatics a treat. EC proves here also to all those who have insulted his music in recent years as Weichspülpop that he's still the same old blues rockers like Cream and The Yardbirds times. Enthusiastic as on the first CD Got U on my mind, which sounded far too boring on the album version. Tears in Heaven and Bell Bottom Blues shine in the usual way. Remarkably, it is, as Erik Clapton has done, has made of bittersweet ballads like My Father's Eyes and River of Tears real rock songs. Class. Plus a super version of She's gone, which is totally mislungen on Pilgrim. On the second CD we find a gigantic badge again, the 'old' version of Layla, who still rocks like no other song world, to classics like Wonderful Tonight and Sunshine Of Your Love. Super Funny affects the rhythmic clapping of the audience at the conclusion cuddle song Over the Rainbow, which is of course super successful. In addition to the unique songs and Clapton unique way to celebrate the guitar, including Clapton's voice over the years is apparently even better. There is also a booklet that defines this with EC Comics and photos of the tour and the terrific band. As an extra, there are still two live videos of Badge and River of Tears, showing once again what a genius EC. All in all, of course, the live event of the year. The old Shaman Santana da loose wrap, not only the latter can not sing, Clapton does not mainstream and that's good .....
