I bought the receiver actually for my Linux-VDR, but use it only since the Mac mini (G4, 1.25GHz, 512MB RAM, OS X 10.4.11) with EyeTV 3.3.x.

The stick is reliable, always with me in "Diversity" mode. Thus, the signal strength of the transmitter against my old Cinergy T2 has been improved by up to 40%, dropouts, I have not been seen since.

The remote I have not tested, but it is unfortunately only in "PCMCIA" credit card format. The IR sensor is located directly on the stick, making it with me behind the computer is "hidden" and not to reach for the remote control. For more handy FB other Hauppauge products and a differently designed IR sensor there the 5th star.

A quick test on the netbook with Windows 7 with the Windows Media Center has been successful, but unfortunately the CPU was extremely claimed. The supplied software I have not tested.
