I purchased this adapter for my MacBook Pro 13 (mid 2012), because the Apple adapter are simply too expensive and each allow only one type of connection.

The CSL 3in1 adapter enables monitors or TV via 3 different standards to connect (VGA, DVI and HDMI).
Everything works so far without problems. The adapter will be detected immediately and the MacBook automatically switches to the external monitor and extended desktop. You can enable cloning of the work surface (ie on the Macbook and external monitor is the same image shown) on the system settings.

Processing of the adapter is OK, but does not come close to the stylish Apple products. I did not expect at the low price. I can not comment yet, I have acquired the adapter only recently about the durability.

From me a strong buy recommendation!
