The board is great, no doubt. BUT: the (old) base 2011 has been thus condemns Intel to death. There are newly developed in all probability no more CPU. ie the now current 4th generation CPU is not compatible with the first edition of the 2011 base. So you will remain on the old CPU i7-3820 sit i7-3930 and i7-3960. Which are now obsolete, though the computing power for much completely sufficient incl. Games. I have also an old 2011 board, has been touted as a high-end socket. And now? The new CPU Haswell i7-4xxxx for the new !! 2011 socket will not fit on the 2011 first-generation. So if you want to eventually upgrade the CPU, that goes with the old 2011 NOT. I feel as duped, but this is Intel not matter. So the board is great, but dead regarding CPU or expansion options. If necessarily 2011 then it should be the new 2011 socket
