During startup, the BIOS of the card is approximately 3s appear, which can be skipped with the spacebar. Who is on fast start times from, should have equalized hereby the advantage of the data rate again. (Are worse)
USB3 is displayed as available, but I did not test it because for my application is of no interest.
Restriction:
The above motherboard (and some others) have shared PCI Express lanes. In this case, the x4 slot only runs in x4 mode if no x1 card is inserted in the other slot. Since I have a network card operate here, that I can dispense less than on some data rate, I have unfortunately but decided against the U3S6.
In x1 mode a data rate of 180MB / s is achieved, which is less than the SATA2 port on the boards (250MB / s), so it comes SATA absolutely uninteresting because x1 SATA2 controller can be had cheaper. So rather look in advance of the Board's manual and if necessary to consider whether you can do without a second slot.
