I have to say I'm from Xoro really excited. He has a few features that I still want to highlight (which the MX83 does not have).
First, it maintains its programming, even if it is disconnected from the power.
He also has three characteristics that I find really great:
1) If the Xoro is turned on, it starts immediately in the background the consignment on the external hard drive to take (you can also turn off). So when you look at something and then detects that you want to keep it, you just press record and it will all permanently stored what was already included in the background.
2.) You can set the skip time when fast-forwarding, so that shots can not only fast forward at up to 24x Working speed, but also in (variable adjustable) intervals jump forward. This makes it easier to skip over commercials in recordings enormous.
3.) The external hard disk can be formatted with NTFS, the recorded programs can be played back on a PC without any further processing (and vice versa).
I have the device only for a week, so I can not provide information about its durability say, but the first impression is really good.
The external hard disk has been recognized without any problems immediately. The setting was just because we are led by a wizard. The stations were - as far as I can determine it - all found (free TV at Kabel BW). The picture is as good as the MX83. The Xoro is only a little slower than the MX83 (when switching between channels, also the switching takes significantly longer than the MX83 - so that I can live).
Bad solved is the EPG, which is the MX83 bit better, but that does not bother me really.
The Xoro HRK + has me definitely detulich better convinced than the MX83 870 CI.
