I have learned since the Gigabyte GTX 570 SOC after Gigabyte 7970 OC and now just the GTX 970 WindForce always had the design and estimate.
The GTX 970, I can say to the workmanship and quality back up a gear has upped the ante. The backplate makes the card very stiff so that it puts absolutely torsion-free in the slot. That's not always the case with competitors ...
For performance I must say that not so many games ... Games Battlefield 4 runs on Ultra approximately to 70 - 80 FPS at 2560 x 1440th That's a house number. For this, the card but was pretty much overclocked to stop.
The core clock has been increased by 155 and the memory to 300. I think the 300 is still to beat ... I have read of people that go to 500 on "target" and run stable. My had failed at 330. The core voltage I have left. Mention should still be that I have a Intel i5-2500K @ 4500Mhz considered early ... would also make 4900 but whether it is still a positive impact on the FPS I do not think so. I mention this only to exclude a limitation of the CPU. Throughout the ASUS Sabertooth P67 on.
I have a fan profile and overclocking with Afterburner adapted / see pictures ... At full load in a very well cooled Corsair 760T I have never more than 68 degrees.
In desktop and in the Game Card is absolutely "not" heard. Fans run into this profile with 40%.
What I bemängel complete and extremely annoys me is the Spulenfiepen. The more FPS (Fifa 14/15 - Beyond the 400) it's annoying ... I have an absolute silent system which is also very important to me but it bothers Fifa ... well the game is then but it is there .... In Battlefield again I can not listen ... as I said about 70 FPS.
But seis drum ... I would buy again and probably also the next generation Wind Force ... !!!
I hope I could one or the other a suggestion giving up but not the low price to buy the card ...
