Pro:
- NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT with 512MB
Sacred 2, GTA4 and GRID run smoothly for me.
- DDR3 RAM clocked at 1066MHz (DDR2 has usually 800Mhz)
- Large & quiet drive with 320GB
- Good display with perfect resolution
- Lots of extras (built-in webcam, card reader, HDMI)
- Very good heat dissipation to the left side, absolutely silent at normal work, whisper barely hot even under heavy load
I had a Dell XPS 1530, was VERY hot.
- Centrino 2 platform -> improved energy efficiency + faster FSB
- With an SSD, this is the perfect PC
- Good support for Linux wireless, graphics worked out-of-the-Box
- During low operation and instantly switch hotkey in "Quiet Mode". Say the optical drive is not running at full speed, allowing a relaxing test DVD Check
- Good workmanship
Cons:
- Clear coat surface (does not bother me personally too much)
Conclusion: just buy it better than the Dell XPS for those seeking a useful multimedia and gaming notebook, and by far.
