In contributions to other Sansa Clip players (4GB / 2GB) is criticism that no folder structures are transferred from the PC. That would be for me really a reason not to purchase the player. I am mainly interested in audiobooks.
But then I installed my (in the basic version) free program MediaMonkey on the PC. Creates all (folder) are elegantly bypassed problems:
1. Sansa Clip is recognized by the program and real synchronizing the audio data on the computer and the Sansa Clip is possible (not just for podcasts tip)!
2. Audio files can be very comfortable "tagging" with MediaMonkey. and in the Sansa Clip - by different ID3 tag categories - sort and play. I find that much better (because variable) as a fixed folder structure!
3. Even the creation of "playlists" is very easy with MediaMonkey. The playback of audio books with many subfolders is possible through playlists. The key requirement is that the audio books are not "tagged" as an audio book, but as "Audio Book" (singular!) In order to be recognized by the Sansa Clip as such and placed in the corresponding internal section!
Conclusion:
The use of MediaMonkey as "controller" for the Sansa Clip makes the player into a real value-for-baby!
