With Libby Day, the author created with an unusual courage protagonist - a young woman who breaks it, that her family was murdered and she had accused her brother of murder as a young child. The one-way street, drifting depressed at Libby's, drawn beautifully, but also their decision, but now to get their lives and their past in the handle. Bulky as she is, she still manages to pick up the threads of her past again, but just their bulkiness makes them so wonderful as a character. The Day family comes across three dimensions - so sculptural and captivating descriptions of White Trash must be sought. Sympathetic protagonists in this book are not, but in three dimensions, with their strengths and weaknesses, and you love them anyway - Gillian Flynn leaves her personal human touch in spite of everything. What a union, what a predecessor of "Gone Girl"! And how there - a successful resolution. 5 Stars.
