Class Receiver

Have the Kathrein UFS 910 a week now and can only report positive.
It came so far no crashes or "hang up" before.
Recording to USB hard drives (FAT 32) and sticks works without problems. Of particular note here is the easy programming of recordings by "one-click" in the EPG.
Program Scan, programing and arranging the favorite channel lists is done quickly, faster than in all my previous "normal" satellite receivers.
Here are some tips and my experience of the first days:
- At the beginning of the necessarily present on the Kathrein website latest firmware update 15 import. Works without problems.
- I have refused because I basically anordne my transmitter otherwise the factory preset program list.
- Connect a largest possible hard drive because the HDTV recordings require a lot of memory. I immediately ordered me even a 500 GB Verbatim runs immediately without any problem on the receiver.

I can only recommend the receiver. Top quality in processing, software, usability and image display.

August 2008:
Be careful when installing new firmware !!
Now that I have the Fiormware 1:06 partly filled by the Firmware 1.05 with no hassles, ARTE HD is no longer, the receiver locks up.
Despite many attempts, Konmmunikation with the Kathrein service that FW is 1:06 faulty. My return to 1.05 and everything is beautiful.
Many users (see various forums) it goes well.
From the customer service I was suspected at last, to have piped third-party software. It was even threatened with deprivation of warranty claims. Customer service looks to me otherwise!
I would like to pull off this 2 star rating, if that were possible later.
