I have to admit that I came out (also due to unfortunate marketing by Ubisoft) believe that it is Splinter Cell: is a pure action title Balcklist. Too many automations, stereotypical villains and cut scenes that clearly aimed at the Call of Duty Generation: So I thought, at least, after I had seen the trailer. But after I had added myself the newest agent adventure around Sam Fisher in a games-sluggish phase, I was disabused. Yes - though you can also try in the best Rambo-style proceed, and with the right equipment, it is quite possible to come to success. But I have experienced in any other game, that the possibilities are so diverse, to engage with different approaches to the goal.
Depending on how you equip yourself before mission departure, everything is possible. As mentioned, you can shoot through to the end of the level, or trying to be inconspicuous and silent secret agent. It is even possible a few missions to play through without a single kill to have done, which is the largest but also most exciting challenge for me. The game invites a formally to a try and find out new ways and tactics. Unlike other games where you will be whisked through the levels blacklist ensures instead that you take time and the environments and the playful possibilities it explores. This ensures a longer lasting feeling of freshness and increases the replay value - a trademark that is a lot of games these days have been lost. Blacklist is none of those games where you every few feet they say about the Micro in the ear, which step you do and what weapon you use should. Rather, it provides a wealth of weapons and James Bond-like gadgets plus a sophisticated game world so surprised a how much alternatives it offers a distracting enemy guards or unnoticed to get from A to B.
As the game wants a say: We offer you a wealth of opportunities. What to make of it you can do ?!
Add to this the gameplay mechanics that can play very well for something acclimatization period and ensures that can be liquid involved actions like climbing, sneaking, or from a cover to another sprinting into the game.
But there are some, a few negative points that I want to add. The story loses towards the end some of its momentum and something clichéd villains bother me. In addition, it is also at the later levels hardly possible without violent shootout to complete the missions. Accordingly, I have the initial level and the like more in the middle part.
Nevertheless, I can issue a strong buy recommendation for Splinter Cell. In addition to the aforementioned presentation is to highlight positive. The graphics are really nice to know, and especially the lighting effects to please. There is also a more than solid speech output, as well as dynamic music that sounds appropriate and not intrusive out of the speakers.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist acts from front to back and top quality complex and just on the WiiU are blockbuster titles of this caliber to find something currently rare. Who is not only a quick shoot-out, but the patience and curiosity brings more intensively with Splinter Cell: Blacklist to deal, in my opinion, will have the most fun with it.
From me clear 5 Stars.
