Cleaning performance prima, handling standard

I received the unit yesterday and could now test extensively. I have used it for evaporation of kitchen and living room cabinets incl. Cabinets, laminate flooring, floor and wall tiles in the bathroom as well as PVC and a smoked glass door. With very few very hard encrustations, which I had to come to grips with a little bit stronger, the Kärcher has everything cleaned outstanding. Va superficial fat streaks on the kitchen cabinets are together with the dirt that is caked in mind with a few steam bursts from the off hand tool. The floors shine outstandingly in no time. Without any chemicals, it goes with me not - I water the cleaning cloth that is wrapped around the respective nozzle, always with a little suitable detergent (laminate floor care, plastic cleaners, washing up liquid, etc.) - but that I already knew from my former steam cleaner. He was from a different manufacturer, was a lot more expensive, but has not kept unfortunately long.

Better handling has given me in my old device like however. In this one Karcher namely has no possibility to roll up the power cord somewhere, so that it always lying around somewhere in operation. The length of the cable is indeed great - you do not often while working to change the electrical outlet - but unfortunately this a long cable is then always between your feet around. In addition, the floor nozzle can not here - as with other Kärcher Dampfis - are placed in the park position. All this takes the device a lot of comfort, would Kärcher in production in my opinion, but also not cost much more. It seems to me with this, the manufacturer wants to force an incentive to opt for a much more expensive model, but that you do not really need. Far more annoying I find, however, that both the steam hose and va also the handle of the device in operation are extremely hot, so you sometimes afraid to get burned if you're not careful. Small children must therefore be definitely kept away from the device! I will therefore use it in no way, as long as my little daughter running around at home. That was better with my old device; which was indeed quite even warm but annäherend not as hot as the Kärcher - the handle sometimes not. This shows that the heat generation would get with the appropriate material in the truest sense of the word in the handle, and Kärcher has saved here in my opinion, in the wrong places.

I'm a again, go two days me and think about whether I keep the device or rather look around for another manufacturer.

- Handle and steam hose are extremely hot
- After a short break from work drips before the first shot of steam a lot of water from the nozzle
- Power cable without reeling or wind-up and difficult to store in the device
- Cleaning brush on the nozzle dissolve while rubbing slightly
- No parking position for floor nozzle

What I experience from my old steam cleaner way, would always advise that combination is steam cleaner-iron. There are far better than the steam iron on the market that are currently being sold with steam cleaners (this applies to all manufacturers that I know of).
