After Chris Barnes broke up with Cannibal Corpse (or was thrown out, as one might ever see the * g *) and his previous side project to the main source of income was, he must have one thing in mind: to give full throttle! "Haunted" may sound not 'differentiated' as we know it from later publications, as far as the exchange between growls and screams / squeals, but Barnes proves that he can growl like no other and Corpse with a new singer, who as it may be, will be the losers. In "Haunted" there are many titles that still belong to the repertoire of every decent SFU concert and probably belongs along with "Maximum Violence" to their best albums. Very clear must-buy! The only downside in my opinion is the order of the tracks, as the opener "The Enemy Inside" not as an igniter is like "Silent Violence", but that's probably to get over.
Playing tips: Silent Violence, Lycanthropy, Human Target, Suffering In Ecstasy.
