On offer is here - as homogeneous on album length as Peaches ever never - danceable and minimalist electro-funk, which was indeed produced quite tasty, and also with a few catchy songs' comes up, but never can convince quite. This is due to the fact that this album too eager to act sexy and lascivious, and secondly to the fact that we have all heard so ever (Lidell, tw. Sparro, Goldfrapp), and just Peaches actually getting for musical independence and innovation stand. The album seems a bit too smooth ironed, and if the lady then even techno and house set pieces integrated (Title Track or, Mommy Complex ') then it sounds simply dowdy. Work best nor the most commercial pieces like, Talk To Me '(somewhat reminiscent of Prince early 90s) and, Lose You' which would certainly chart compatible, and if woman Peaches' now finally want to earn even coal, then it was the granted, but then you have to go through with this concept fully well. This album is too bulky for a Hit Album 'and too smooth for a niche album. And original can be done differently.
Because one but quite out listening to the approach and the potential of the lady and the tracks have also often very good grooves go to 3 stars from all.
