Collecting plate for "GARDMAN" -Futterspender - Original name: "HEAVY DUTY FEEDER SEED TRAY FOR WILD BIRDS"

In principle it concerns with this under the feeder to be screwed collecting plate to a quite useful utensil, which reduces the otherwise still enormous birdseed losses by the grains which are not consumed immediately but during the feed intake by approaching birds with trickle out, are collected.

However, this attachment could not be used as supplied.

Reason: During thread in the bottom of the food dispenser is a M20 thread, enclosed was a made of plastic screw threaded M18.

Since I ordered several copies of these plates, to retrofit all my transparent feeder of the brand "GARDMAN" order, which were delivered with a sämtlichst M18 screw, it can not be an isolated mistake of the manufacturer at this lapse.

In order to spare me several times back and Hersenden the claimed article, I resorted to it, to wind the thread of the M18 screw with a few turns of Teflon tape until it could be tightly screwed into the M20 thread of the feeder.
