Wii owners will probably already know the gameplay from Part 1. You walk through freely accessible areas and fulfills orders, which usually consist in certain items such as buildings or billboards under a certain timing to color. This is achieved by in ink wells, colored fountains or using Farbbots one inking with the appropriate color and touches the corresponding objects. Some items can be, depending on the mission either dye-free or there will be a specific color set. This may be a bit boring at first listen for he who is not, however. While you can instantly change from one color to another, for example in ink wells, you have to mix yourself later in the game colors like purple after the RGB color principle. That, however, initially Farbbots me find the appropriate colors and possibly clean in water, so you can mix the next color. The mission objectives are more difficult. Thus one gets for example the task to color a tall building, but where you can reach the roof with a complex combination of jumps and Wallruns. Also, there are certain mechanisms such as elevators, switches or spring mechanisms that throw one into the air. Also side missions are spread across the entire card in addition to the main missions, which you can attend to any order. However, it is advisable to initially due to the time limit in the main missions to make them first and then to dedicate the side missions before heading into the next area. Solbald you a mission has been completed, we obtain certain collectibles such as the symbol TIME order to extend the time, light bulbs symbols etc .. Unfortunately, repeat the side missions frequently, such as "coloring all buildings" or "raise up all the trees of life", which is why this after a while a little can be boring. You can leave these missions as well, but which decreases the final score for the level. The collectable bulbs symbols so constitute a form of currency or as from RPGs known Experience Points, with which you can "upgrade" his blob. Unfortunately, this upgrade capability is kept fairly simple and you can for example activate any new moves, but it is limited to the enlargement of the Farbkapzität, the life, the resistance, reducing the ink costs for a Power Move and the strengthening of the second player, although The latter insofar as one only alone Plays can be neglected. New Moves will only be shown or unlocked from when they are needed. Partial changes the game by the 3D view in a side view and you play a specific section as a typical Sidescrollergame.
Graphics:
The graphics look in my opinion, despite a 720p resolution really good and especially fit out. The game also supports the 3D mode, which I but for lack of a 3D-enabled TV could not test.
Sound:
Since I do not have expensive sound system, I can not say how great the sound is actually. On the TV speakers it sounds but to passable. At least the music for the game is well chosen. A speech there is not direct, but you have to, as in some Pixar short movies on a "babbling" limited (More on this later). The story is told, however, in short comic strips during the charging time, which I think is a fairly wise use of the charging time. :-)
Control:
Control goes pretty well with the gamepad out of hand. From time to time also moves are required, for which you have to use the motion sensor of the controller. But the game also supports the Move controller. I assume that the game is more fun with the Move controller, but this could not test the absence of such a controller. The only control on the what would have to complain about is that somewhat imprecise target acquisition. In particular, if several opponents will stand on a pile of difficult to select specific opponent.
Supplementary comment:
What I particularly like about the game are the cutscenes. Despite the nonexistent speech (which in my opinion anyway totally out of place would) create the cinematics the action and emotions well bring over (as just the Pixarfilmchen), which raises a certain charm.
Conclusion:
Despite some small drawbacks I was still convinced the game. The game is classified due to its more simple concept more in the casual gamer area. However, the game also progamers can provide a nice change possibly in between.
