Announced a week ago, already available - no question, the Raconteurs have's time piece. The album itself was recorded quickly and you can hear it's on: all songs sound fresh and spontaneous, almost recorded live in the studio, with relatively few overdubs. Guitars dominate (what a surprise), plus there's Celtic Violin (Old Enough "), organ (Salute Your Solution"), banjo (Top Yourself ") and the Memphis Horns on the very 60s-soulful Many Shades of Black". Unlike its predecessor, Broken Boy Soldiers, there's time less immediate than Jack White and Brendon Benson wrote to identifying songs, Consolers be heard the album two, often with and against each other singing, equal songwriter (and a very good rhythm section), which complement each other excellently although White's manic presence always shines through. Particularly impressive are the issuing double whammy, the theme song (-s') and the irresistible drying Salute Your Solution ", the frenetic Attention", as well as the great Top Yourself "which almost sounds like an outtake from Led Zeppelin III. Class also a dynamic version of Terry Reid's Rich Kid Blues "and, best of all, the final number Carolina Drama" that tells a möderische history in blood and milk mix and maybe not unzufällig evoke the colors that Jack White's other band is so has appropriated. Speaking of White Stripes: Who is at the cognate Consolers of the Lonely anyway have his joy, all the other features of this great album a new opportunity just about to hear the best rock and roll of the present Icky Thump has liked.
