Solidly built and massive enough, this headset remains light enough to be worn comfortably for several hours. Although largely made of plastic, it looks really solid, except at the cable and especially 2 jacks that look good frail in comparison ... Really a shame.
The ear cups are covered with fabric like velvet. They would be perfect if they were slightly larger, but this is not really a problem.
The cable is 3 meters, and has a control to mute the microphone, and a volume controller. Practice good! The microphone is adjustable at its end, while the branch of micro, rotating, allows the back on the left side of the hoop when you do not need it.
The resulting sound quality is really good throughout the audio spectrum, bass very present without stifling the rest: you can listen to any type of music. Microphone is no exception, offering made clear and almost without breath (of course, it is suitable for the spoken voice, it's not a vocal mic either.)
Hard to beat in this price range, so warmly recommend. Warning! If your computer is sporting a poor quality audio output, turn instead to USB headset that avoids "harvest" all parasites. This will also be the only solution if your laptop does not have both a stereo audio output and a microphone input (mini jack 2 separate connections), which is increasingly common.
