The saw "Makita reciprocating saw JR3050T 1010 W" will come together with a very stable Original Tool Bag. This consists of plastic and is formed in register. In it, the saw is housed securely on transports. It is a smaller compartment, can be stored in the replacement saw blades. Unfortunately, the space for accommodating the electrical connection cable is very short.
The initial start-up ran without any problems, and having to use without the manual. The insertion of the saw blade is virtually self-explanatory, as the tool-free change of saw blades.
As a test I sawed several forearm thick branches of a tree, and cut them into smaller pieces. This means the included blade for fast, coarse cuts in wet wood. The result: fast, powerful and effortless, the sections were performed by the timber.
Then I changed the blade, chose the version for metal sections. By that I parted with a few quick cuts the tubular frame and the tub of an old garden barbecues. This was my decision that: The device remains! :)
For handling: Of course, the device is relatively large and heavy, but fits comfortably and securely in your hand and is easy to handle. Man (n) must firmly grab, but that goes without saying. In use, in my opinion, so keep a good view to the saw blade. By projecting and fast moving blade produces a not to be underestimated hazard.
Through their design, to transmit vibrations from the blade to the entire machine. For me this was absolutely normal and tolerable. With long-term work it is probably something tired. The selection of saw blades at the appropriate length reduces the vibrations.
The quality and workmanship of the saw is beyond any doubt. For me, a real recommendation!
Addendum:
As it is freestanding and fast moving blade is produced when using this type of saw a considerable potential hazard. Therefore is very useful for the intended purpose to use a saw blade in correct length and adjust the cutting length by the adjustable guide shoe. Too much outstanding blade could otherwise quickly encounter an object behind the cut.
The connecting cable of the saw is black. When cutting out several large shrubs in my garden suddenly went nothing more. Despite care I had overlooked the cable in the tangle of branches and cut smoothly. In the Makita saw this represents an insurmountable problem. The side panel on the handle and switch is fixed with screws. After removal of these cover the terminal board for the electrical connection is accessible. On the website of a Makita replacement part sketch can be loaded. Then both the structural design as well as the spare part number and technical specifications of the components are visible. The connection cable has z. B. via two wires with 1.5 mm².
Somewhat surprised, I was in this context that the strands of the original port were assembled in the factory without ferrules. Here pennies were saved. The remainder cable to my device would have been for another operating long enough, but I swapped this in this context, equal to an even better, and above all, bright orange cord out. Better safe than sorry! ;-)
