I had nearly a year to Denon RCD-M39DAB with whom I was quite happy in use, but unfortunately tended more and more to "chirping" and sound. Amazon was very accommodating and offered me instead of the desired repair immediately credited to that I used for this Onkyo CS-265DAB. I wanted to back a black or silver CD receiver, unfortunately there was to order only the white version, thankfully, optically really super. From experience with the Denon and the poor radio reception where I live (for FM and DAB +) I ordered a precautionary measure equal to a supplementary antenna. But this was unnecessary. The reception of the Onkyo with the included simple wire antenna is significantly better than the Denon. Significantly more air channels and those still in better quality. The external antenna was unnecessary and now supplies my "big" in the living room. Even otherwise the sound is poor as the Denon in any way, if you use the same boxes. I use this, my "old" Yamaha Regallautsprecher further, the loyal service for almost 2 decades. But I have to note that the supplied white boxes Onkyo considering its small size and the price-related non-quality materials make a very good job. Visually adjust them at any rate perfectly to system. What I miss most unfortunately Onkyo opposite the Denon is a subwoofer output. Had this present many the choice easy. Placed the small white boxes and out of the hiding place of deep bass. But in other functional areas scores of Onkyo, one of the size of the facility appropriate remote control and no huge "leg" which is lying around on the desk, also a practical manual on paper and not on CD. I do not regret any case, the transition from the Denon Onkyo. Hopefully I'll stay this time spared of long-term technical faults.
